Update
Hello again friends. I've decided to start using this blog again, but for recording my sewing and other projects. I have finished a pair of pajama/sweat pants and have gather materials for a tank top dress that I hope to start construction on. The Link to the Dress Here! I got some lovely pink Chevron cotton on sale at Joanne's and instead of a bow for the waist, I'm using some thick black elastic and a black thick strap tank top for the top. I won't be able to wear the dress until summer, but am super excited to make it. As for recent happenings in Monument, the Thailand fundraising for the Flying Tigers is going very well and our tickets have been purchased and arranged. Now it's just a matter of making those last couple hundred and whatever spending money we want to bring. I'll have about a billion pictures and will most definitely post at least half ;)

Update
Hey people! It's been almost a year since my last post so there is a lot to talk about!!!Summer was really good but not very long, school has started up again and we're almost the to end of our 3rd quarter. This week we had our Writer-In-Residence in English class on Tuesdays and Thursday and it'll be the same this week. Last night w had our third Monthly Movie Night at the school. We watched Wreck-it-Ralph
and The Dark Knight Rises. I made it through almost all of Batman, but fell asleep and had to be woken up after it got over :P We've started a writer's club at my school and have been working on poetry at our first several meetings. This week and last have been pretty busy. I completed all three of my OAKS tests and got fairly OK scores and that took up a lot of time. I also cooked/served at our School Travel Club's (The Flying Tigers) Thai dinner. We are raising money to go to Thailand next spring. I will start blogging more , I just need to get through the hustle. Bye Bye!!!

Modern Day Life in Monument
Monument is a pretty average town... most of the time. We have our moments of craziness and this week was one of them. The whole school was buzzing about the play and about a five minute speech we all had to give in Mr. Masonheimer's class. Even though there was momentary chaos, we managed to put on this play:

The Dailey Trio as Mowgli(Me), Akela(Wilson) and The Head of Kaa(Emily) |

Sorry All Ya'll!!
Hey all you guys!! Sorry I haven't blogged for a while, busy busy! But I have come to give you news!! Okay so first, on Monday, Missoula Children's theatre came to my school for Auditions for a week of rehersal and at the end, The Jungle Book in musical form!! So we did the whole audition thingy and they called up a group and what they would be. So at the very end, they called me up with my two friends. They told the two that they were Shere Khan and Tabaqui. I knew there was only one character left........ Mowgli!
That's right, I was Mowgli! We had four days to learn our scripts. For me that was half a three-ring-binder of words. Plus songs and choreography! It was super fun! So when last night (Friday) we had from 2:30 to 6:30 to practice the whole thing, our lines and play a couple games. OH! How could I forget makeup? During that time, the two director ladies were calling up name to get makeup on. Being the only human in the show, I got all tan and patches of dirt on my face. It was amazing!
So finally, it was SHOWTIME!!! I started to get nervous for the first time! EEK! But, we got it all done and I did my solo song good (But of course, not very loud) and Shere Khan was AWESOME (She actually looked like a striped teddy bear ha ha) It was fun and my dad got some of it on video so maybe you'll get to see some of it! Well, I'll try to blog more now that I'm less busy so Bye!
Sincerely,
-Mowgli(aka Charlotte)
